Know about colon cleansers? They are foods and laxatives which loosen stools & they prevent disease by clearing toxic chemicals from the colon. But enemas and laxatives are necessary only for those who don't eat properly or have difficulty in normal elimination. Bowel cleansing may cause severe loss of potassium causing irregular heart beats and maybe even deaths in elderly persons.
Colon cleansers contain sodium phosphate which causes a very significant loss of potassium though the colon, but younger people usually don't have low levels of blood potassium because their kidneys manage to retain potassium; whereas older people may have weak kidneys which cannot retain potassium and so they cause low blood levels of potassium. Regular use of laxatives and colon cleansers cause one to lose necessary minerals. The two absorption systems in our bodies are 1. the food which one eats get secretions from the mouth, stomach, liver, intestines pancreas contain enzymes & are absorbed into the bloodstream . 2. Food which is not broken down into basics and thus cannot be absorbed passes to the colon .. In your colon there are 500 different types of bacteria growing naturally . They are broken into short chain fatty acids which are absorbed from our colon and may help to heal ulcers, reduce arthritis pain or psoriasis, lower cholesterol and high blood pressure , prevent heart attacks etc. Colon-cleansing products like enemas, laxatives could deprive one of good bacteria and and cause loss of basic nutrients from r colon. For frequent constipation sufferers, try removing refined carbohydrates like foods made with flour, white rice or milled corn.Lots of fluid should be taken. In the first place I would like to say that colon cleansers are absolutely indispensable to some people suffering from constipation as nothing seems to work for them.Secondly I have heard about the oxygen colon cleanser. That sounds like some new novel treatment.

You have got the point wrong here, that the use of colon cleansers is as the name implies the cleansing of the colon and constipation is just one among the many conditions that can form there. The requirement of a healthy colon is always feasible; by enduring the health of colon an individual can restrict the onset of several conditions like constipation, diarrhea and losing weight. Again the oxygen colon cleansing is one such method among many other methods that can also perform the same purpose. The oxygen colon cleanser involves in oral medication which comprises the capsules and powder forms and is known to be abundant in oxygen related chemicals, following the administration of such medication there is a chemical reaction that is performed internally and thereafter oxygen is released and traversed throughout the body. The oxygen colon cleanser targets the accumulated feces and toxins in the large intestine and helps them to loosen so that they can be easily passed away. Thus it eliminates the chances of developing health complications and the build up of bacteria from the toxins. The main advantage of the oxygen colon cleanser over other methods lies in the functionality by which it can eliminate the harmful bacteria whereas the other methods also discard the good bacteria as well. Again the other forms of cleansing can act in the lower parts of the intestine while oxygen colon cleanser involves the entire intestinal tract. Additionally they can also cleanse the urinary tract too. Moreover oxygen is also a valued substance for the entire body and as it passes through the entire body the bloodstream also become rich in oxygen which is always solicited. Lastly the expense involved in the said method is much cheaper than the other known methods.
