First of all, I'd like to say hello to everyone as I've just joined this forum. In complete frustration, I did a Google search on "sick of being fat," and found this site. I'm seeking real answers from real people... not gimmics.
This is my situation... I'm 26 years old, married with no children. I'm a fairly short gal at 5'3, and while I was in college (Age 19-23) I feel I was at my ideal weight of 115-120 lbs. After I graduated college, I found that within just a couple of years I had gained 20 lbs. I'm now a very busy worker from home, doing 8-9 straight hours of work at the computer a day. In addition, I usually skip breakfast and lunch, and usually just have a small dinner with my husband.
For the last 3 years, I've been wanting to get rid of these 20 lbs, but it's sooo difficult. I know I need to try to make myself eat more small healthy snacks throughout the day, but I'm such a determined worker that I often get so caught up in my work. What's really frustrating is for the last 3 weeks I started putting aside time each day to exercise, varying the routine from running on my elliptical machine to riding my bike (in the 100 degree heat), 100+ crunches/day, squats, and light weights... with very little results. It seems like my scale is stuck.

About a year ago, I ran on my elliptical machine 30 minutes/day for two months straight with no results. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong.
