Default Low fat food

I always chose products which have the label saying 'low fat' or 'reduced fat'. Are low products always healthy?

Dietary fat does not make you fat! You should try your best to avoid saturated fats. However, good fats should be a large portion of your diet.

I read that foods labelled 'low fat' can have the fat replaced by other ingredients, so the product can end up with the same or even higher calorie content.

Hi, as far as I know products containing low fat is good to have a healthy and balanced weight. But you should remember that low fat products are not necessary low in calories. And eating products with lot of calories can make you gain weight. First of all you should read the label well so that you can avoid products with lot of calories.

Talking of low fat food! Hmm there exists also 0% fat. From what i heard low fat food are good! But sometimes customers are not to be blamed if they made the wrond choice, the products themselves are not made of proper ingredients! There's always something less or something more!! Manufacturers can go to any extent to sell their products on the market. So beware guys!

I kind of agree with you. But there's no such thing of more or less. Maybe they just add some preservatives if that's what you're talking about? Low fat can end up being high fat as some of you said. That's a trick that sellers have to sell their product more easily. But yet we keep eating them!
