I recently quit drinking after about 3 or 4 years of frequent binge drinking where the the later 2 years being the worst.Since apart from putting on weight i have started to suffer from stomach. I've never got my liver checked.
Is there anything i can eat or take to keep my liver healthy and protect it from any further damage? Are there any foods i should avoid to keep it healthy? |

There are 2 things you can try. Milk thistle which is very good for the liver or you can do a liver cleanse. Go to a health shop and you should easily find both. For the milk thistle make sure somewhere on the label it says 80% silymarin. For the liver cleanse just look for any bottle or box that says liver cleanse.

I agree with the posts about Milk Thistle. I also wanted to add that some people would suggest supplements to repair the damage that it does to your brain as well. I know that may sound extreme, but I will just throw it out there and let you decide if it applies to you or not!
