Default Successful weight loss along with hair loss

I am on diet since the past 3-4 months and I have been losing weight successfully. But along with my weight I am losing my hair too. Since the past two months, I have lost a considerable amount of hair and I fear that I may go bald. Is this hair loss due to dieting? If yes what is the solution to this? Please help I love my hair a lot.

Does dieting cause hair loss? Well I am on diet since the last 2months and luckily I am not having any hair loss.

hi Tara. it is possible that the diet you're following is causing your hair loss. see, to grow properly and healthily, your hair needs certain specific nutrients and vitamins. your diet might be lacking in these substances.
i will try doing some research to find out what you can do to remedy this situation

Hi Tara! I read somewhere that successful weight loss leads to hair loss too. Gargantuan is right in saying that you lack some essential nutrients that your hair needs. My advise will be that you consult a doctor and he will be in a better position to tell you which foods to eat or he might even give you some vitamin pills.

hi Tara. Gargantuan already mentioned why you might losing your hair.
you could see a doctor as Karl suggested. i know of a good product which helps with hair growth, it's pilfood based tablets, plus the shampoo for weekly usage. i think it can't be obtained OTC, so you'll have to visit a doctor for a prescription

I am having hair loss too. I think I’ll look for these pills too. Are they too expensive?

You should not take pills unless the doctor prescribes them to you. It is not necessary that pills that have worked for others will work for you too. So be cautious!

i don't think Silent Death would advise a medication that could mess up a person's health, she doesn't seem that kind and she mentioned that it's a prescription pill anyway so

You are right saying that Silent Death would never advise a medication that could mess up a person's health but Leenen is right in her place too. One should not always assume that what has worked for a friend or family member can work for you too. Our bodies and needs are all different and unique so to be on the safe side better seek the advice of a doctor before.
