Default Negative calorie food

Myth: Certain foods, like grapefruit, celery, or cabbage soup, can burn fat and make you lose weight.

Fact: No foods can burn fat. Some foods with caffeine may speed up your metabolism (the way your body uses energy, or calories) for a short time, but they do not cause weight loss.

Where did you get this information from? Just some days back I read that the negative calorie foods help to lose weight and now this. It’s really confusing. I just don’t know what to believe and what not to.

Well I got it from the net itself. Things are so contradictory these days that we don’t know what to believe and what not to. Even I found this strange and thought of sharing it with you all.

This means that coffee can help us lose weight since it increase our metabolism?

I guess that they are very low in calorie and instead of contributing towards calories storage,they uses already stored calorie to get digest and like so with continuos consumption we are bound to lose weight rather than to gain weight.

I know that caffeine can help to dampen down your appetite, at least mildly but I don’t think that it helps in weight loss.

Even if it does help in weight loss, caffeine does have some other side effects you should keep in mind before you start guzzling coffee to help your weight loss.
