Default Is this true?

My son is 12 years old but he seem to be 15 years old and all these cause he’s overweight. I’m up fighting to get him the funniest way to lose weigh. Through some research works I’ve seen that many parents send their children to a weight lose camp to lose weight. Even I’m interested in doing so, but I’ve also overheard that many of these weight-loss camps have been seen to be more oriented towards short-term weight loss. Is this true?

Hi sweetoo, according to me there should be some weights lose camps that are more oriented toward weight lose for a longer period. Else no one would have been interested to send their kids to lose weight over a camp weight lose.

I don't want to discourage you the fact of one of my friend with you. She sent her son to a summer weights lose camp. The son return back well "structured" with massive lose lost in weight --

But unfortunately this lasted for only 3 months and afterward he started gaining weight again --

I guess that he has stopped exercising and dieting after he was back home. That could be the reason for hin to put on that much weight again.

You need not be worried to that extent sweetoo. In factsome weight-loss camps are more oriented towards short-term weight loss. In these camps, portion sizes are reduced and diet is changed. The activity level on his part is high. But there’s effectively no overall clinical model that will effect long-term behavioral change. However there are some weight lose camps which direct their entire programs at changing behavior over the long term. Sports, activities, educational and clinical programs are all part of an overall clinical design to teach new behaviors and habits so that weight lose is for a longer period thought it is a long term one .
