There are a lot of symptoms to eating disorders. Here is a little list of Anorexia nervosa (the list is long sorry I couldn't put all of them):
Noticeable weight loss
Becoming withdrawn
Excessive exercise
Fatigue
Always being cold
Muscle weakness
Obsession with food, calories, recipes
Excuses for not eating meals (ie. ate earlier, not feeling well)

Anorexics tend to have unusual eating habits (ie. cutting food into tiny pieces, picking at food) and noticeable discomfort around food. They complain of being "too fat", even when thin. They also Cook for others, but not eating themselves. They feel a lot of guilt and shame bout eating thus restricting food choices to only diet foods

That sucks. I pity those guys. They are the ones who will tell the others that they are fine that they are eating properly and when you want to help them they get very aggresive and in the end they may even shut themselves to teh rest of the world and they become obsess with their weight

Correct me if I am wrong but this only applies to anorexics. Those who are bullemic can't control it. It happens naturally though they want it to be cured

I think that you are right Obutandf. Anorexics just deny the food.Food becomes their only source of comfort. And then they binge

Bulimia also serves as a function for blocking or letting out feelings. Unlike anorexics, bulimics do realize they have a problem and are more likely to seek help.Bulimics are usually people that do not feel secure about their own self worth. They usually strive for the approval of others. They tend to do whatever they can to please others, while hiding their own feelings

Well I can only feel sorry for these guys. It is not their fault. It's their environment and the stress and pressure from their peers and family that have led them to be this way. I think that with the proper treatment they can be saved.
