Never heard about these camps but I guess if they are safe then there is no harm in sending the children.
They are going to have fun and also do some exercises at the same time.

lol, seems your heart won't be broken after all because there are indeed these camps or adults.
you should search for a camp in your neighbourhood, you can try finding it over the internet. it'll be much easier that way

I heard this is a very useful thing for the kids. I have a nephew in the scouts club. Seems evry attracting to me. I've always wanted to be in the scouts club, but unfortunately could do it. He always keep talking about his outing. There are guys of all ages there. But most of them start when they are 6 or 7!! They do far lots of activities, camping, hiking, cycling, and social works too. I find this form of activity very beneficial and i think we should promote this kind of activities and get our children to form part in them.

Hey i remember my days at the scouts. Unfortunaltely i dont heave enough time to form part of it now. I was already a senior member when i left it. We used to do a lot of things there. Sporting was one of our main lessons. It's a way in which you have fun and at the same time learning things and exercising of course! How much i missed those days! Oh Camping! We had to be on our own and learn to do things on our own too. Sometimes the big one did help us! But at times it was really difficult. You finally end up to be a responsible person! And you should be serious. What Thesabrix just told is right, weshould promote this kind of activities.
