Smoking to lose weight is so stupid
When I was just a teen, one of my friends told me that smoking made people lose weight. I was quite overweight at that time and was looking for a miraculous way of losing my excess weight. I thought I had found it. Smoking really suppressed my appetite. So at first, I was losing some weight. But when my weight stabilized, I started to smoke even more cigarettes. How many times did I tell myself I’ll quit after I lose weight? Looking back on the past I think I was only finding excuses to not admit that I could neither quit smoking nor lose weight . I tried to quit a few times and then I really started to eat more, especially more sweets and snacks. I took back all the weight I had lost so I started smoking again . I went back to the starting point, I was overweight and smoking!!! So I started to think that if I quit smoking, I would only gain more weight. So now I have to take the problem separately. I first have to quit smoking and then only can I really start a diet to lose weight. So I end up with more troubles than solutions .
Smoking to lose weight is really stupid! So am I!
