Default Advice

My son has been to the weight lose camp and i've seen the results on his return home.I'm very happy of his achievement but what bother me a lot is how i'll convince him that now we are not going to go for outdoor dinner often as before since somewhere i know it has contributed to his drastic weight gain. Can anyone please advise me on what to do?

There is nothing to hide from him. Tell him frankly that he had to endure all this difficulties to lose his excess weight and somewhere it is this outdoor food that has contributed to his excess weight. He needs to understand that else when he will be alone he will not be able to make the right choice of food.

I think Koolgirl is right. I’m sure that he is going to understand. The thing is that he has to make the right choice of food on his own since you are not going to be with him each and every minute. So better give him good eating habits as from now itself.

Yes we are all eager to know whether you are still going for outdoor dinner or you have completely stopped. And what is your son’s reaction?

hi sweetoo. i'm guessing, because that's the way it's supposed to be, that they showed him what he is supposed and not supposed to eat when he was at the weight loss camp. in other words, they must have taught the kids the 'right' foods from the 'wrong' ones. so why don't you just gently remind him about all that and tell him you can still eat out but occasionally only and at specific places where you are sure you could order something pretty much healthy?
